About Piko Technologies
The company is made up of doctors and nurses who have grown up with technology and are excellent actors in optimising working time without distorting the quality of our medicine. In particular, we are familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of new technologies in the field of medicine.
Based on these lessons, it seems obvious to us that Emergency Medicine is slow to adopt the latest technologies which could bring so much to our survival conditions and those of our loved ones. We would therefore like to set up a panel of referents, from all origins, all social classes and all professional categories in order to identify problems and needs and to envisage solutions.
Our CEO
Philippe Koch, CEO of Piko-Technologies SA, is a medicine doctor (M.D., Ph.D.) who has been regularly in contact with emergency situations, both in his private life (due to his Savoyard origins: risk sports, mountain roads, etc.) and in his professional life.
Having recently lost many of his family members and friends in emergency situations, he found that emergency services were increasingly overwhelmed in many countries, did not offer any cross-border solutions and above all did not uniformly use all the advanced technologies currently available to help their citizens in the best possible way.
To remedy this, he decided to create the company Piko-Technologies in order to optimise the management of emergency situations, to save lives, those of his family, his children, our lives! while keeping in mind to minimise costs for the States as much as possible, whatever country in the world we find ourselves in.
Because he wanted to find such a solution for his own family, he did so in the interest of all.
Our Ethics Committee
In Piko-Technologies, we have created an ethics committee for two reasons :

Expert in privacy protectionSabine is a legal consultant with more than 12 years of experience in the field of data protection law, a legal expert accredited by Euro Price (www.european-privacy-seal.eu) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional/ Europe (CIPP/E) accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Her consultancy firm, The Privacy Office (www.tpo.solutions), provides one-stop privacy consultancy and management services for small, medium and large enterprises in Europe.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Sabine worked for 7 years for a global consumer goods company, respectively as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions, Legal and Compliance in Belgium and Germany. Prior to her career as an in-house lawyer, Sabine was a member of the Brussels law firm Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck & Kirkpatrick for more than three years while being a member of the Brussels Bar and worked for two years as an assistant at the University of Konstanz (Germany) in the field of European competition law.
